CANdrive™

CANdrive provides a simple, cost-effective instrument solution for ECU-based engines transmitting CAN J1939 data.

CANdrive reads J1939 data and provides 3 outputs that drive standard electric panel gauges – tachometer, oil pressure gauge and coolant temperature gauge. No need for extra engine-mounted senders. Reduced wiring. Simple and cost-effective.

CANdrive is typically used to drive Murphy EG(S)21 series electric gauges and ATA/ATHA tachometers, but standard models can also be used with VDO and Datcon gauges. For volume orders, CANdrive™ can be custom-configured to drive other gauges, lamps or devices.

CANdrive uses an ultra-compact, encapsulated case for maximum protection and durability. Higher specification models feature LED indication of J1939-transmitted engine faults, with IP65 front facia sealing.

CANdrive applications and benefits include:
