For many mechanical (non-ECU) engine control panels, Murphy Magnetic Switches are the nerve centers that translate Swichgage® contact operations into decisions that operate an alarm or engine shutdown device. They are the electrical load carrying devices for the alarm or shutdown device.

Magnetic Switch Tattletale® devices have an additional feature that indicates which monitored function failed, leading to the alarm or shutdown.

Our ST series alarm/annunciator modules may be used with magnetic switches or engine controls, providing additional fault input or indication capability.
